Design Notes

Place the input capacitor across the module pins, not at the far end of a trace — the module's internal loop assumes a local source.
Heat leaves through the module base and pins; the host board copper is part of the thermal solution.
Measure output ripple with a short ground spring at the output pins; a long scope ground lead picks up switching noise that is not really there.
For isolated variants, respect the creepage and clearance the safety standard demands across the isolation barrier.
